Rebecca Hale - A Highlights Tour of Leicester Cathedral

Rebecca Hale is a Volunteer Manager at Leicester Cathedral who gives talks on different aspects of the Cathedral.

Leicester Cathedral is Norman in origin but was heavily restored in the Victorian era. It is, of course, the final resting place of Richard III, the last king of England to die in battle.

In this talk Rebecca will take us on a highlights tour of Leicester Cathedral (St Martin’s) including the history to the current day, the medieval aspects, the Victorian aspects, Richard III, the key windows, and the Regimental chapel (which is St George’s chapel)

2.30pm, Christchurch Clarendon Park, Leicester LE2 3AH. Doors open at 2:00pm.
