Although the group’s main focus is on architecture, involving discussions in the Synagogue and visits to buildings in Leicester and further afield, we may also range wider and have sessions on the design of furniture, ceramics or glass for example.

  • Trip to Spalding - 19th June 24

    The trip to Spalding attracted nearly a full coach of members. We arrived in Spalding at the Ayscoughfee Hall Café for coffee. We then split into smaller groups for an interesting guided tour around Spalding given by members of the Spalding Civic Society. This was followed by free time which gave the opportunity to go inside the museums (link to information on museums - Spalding Museums Info) and Spalding church (Spalding Parish Church history).
